Protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A)는 주요 Ser/Thr phosphatase 중 하나로, 세포 성장과 분열의 음성 조절에 관여합니다. PP2A holoenzyme은 A (구조적), C (촉매적), B (조절적) 서브유닛으로 이루어진 이형삼합체입니다. B 서브유닛은 B/PR55, B'/PR61, B''/PR72 계열로 다양하며, 각 계열은 효소 특이성과 세포 내 위치를 결정합니다. 본 항체의 표적 유전자는 B' 계열에 속하며, PP2A의 이합체 형태에 대한 특이적 phosphotyrosyl phosphatase activator를 암호화합니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 다양한 isoform을 생성합니다.
