Target Information
PLD2는 phospholipase D family에 속하는 peripheral membrane protein으로, PH domain, 두 개의 PLD phosphodiesterase domains, 그리고 PX (phox homology) domain을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 phosphatidylcholine(PC)을 phosphatidic acid와 choline으로 가수분해하며, 분비 조절, 세포골격 조절, 내포작용, 전사 조절 및 세포주기 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
PLD2는 phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2)에 의해 자극되며 ADP-ribosylation factor-1 (ARF-1)에 의해 활성화됩니다.
또한 tyrosine kinase 및 G protein-coupled receptor 자극에 의해 활성화되며, EGFR 및 PIP5K1A와 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
PLD2는 plasma membrane caveolae에 위치하며 대부분의 조직에서 발현됩니다.
