Target Information
IKK alpha/beta는 인간의 CHUK (conserved helix-loop-helix ubiquitous kinase) 및 IKKB (inhibitor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells) 유전자에 의해 각각 염색체 10과 8에서 발현됩니다. NF-kB 경로를 활성화하는 TNF alpha 등의 자극에 의해 IKK complex의 두 서브유닛인 IKK alpha와 IKK beta는 조절 단백질 NEMO (IKK gamma)와 함께 IkB 단백질을 인산화시켜 ubiquitin 매개 분해를 유도하고, NF-kB의 인산화를 통해 핵으로의 이동을 촉진합니다. 활성 루프의 serine 176과 180 위치에서의 인산화는 키나아제 활성화를 위한 구조적 변화를 유도합니다.
