Target Information
DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1 (POLR2A)는 DNA 의존적 RNA 중합효소로, 네 가지 리보뉴클레오타이드 삼인산을 기질로 하여 DNA를 RNA로 전사합니다. POLR2A는 RNA polymerase II의 가장 큰 소단위이며, mRNA 전구체 및 다양한 비암호화 RNA를 합성하는 핵심 촉매 구성요소입니다. 이 효소는 여러 이동성 요소로 구성되어 있으며, DNA 주형을 포획하고 전사 개시 시 프로모터의 단일가닥 DNA를 활성 부위에 위치시킵니다. RPB1의 C-말단 도메인(CTD)의 인산화 상태는 전사 개시, 신장, 종결 및 mRNA 가공에 관여하는 인자들의 조립을 조절하며, 유전자 발현 수준의 중요한 조절 메커니즘으로 작용합니다.
