Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues, incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Formalin-fixed tissues require heat-induced antigen retrieval in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD61 (GPIIIa, ITGB3) is a glycoprotein expressed on megakaryocytes, platelets, and their precursors. It functions as a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, and vitronectin, playing a key role in platelet aggregation and adhesion.
