This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Syndecans are type I integral membrane proteoglycans involved in cell–extracellular matrix adhesion and growth factor binding.
Syndecan 1 binds to collagens, fibronectin, and thrombospondin, while Syndecan 1 and 3 interact with midkine (MK), a growth/differentiation factor important in embryogenesis.
Syndecan 2 is expressed in regions of high morphogenetic activity, and Syndecan 4 cooperates with integrins in cell spreading and focal adhesion assembly.
