Storage Conditions and Product Stability
All buffers should be tightly sealed and stored at room temperature.
Stable for 2 years after shipment.
If salt precipitation is observed, warm Lysis Buffer A for 20 minutes at 60°C.
Important Note
Urine samples stored at -70°C, -20°C, or 4°C may develop precipitates due to protein aggregation.
Removing these precipitates can cause exosome loss and affect nucleic acid quality.
Use Norgen’s Urine Preservative to maintain nucleic acid and protein integrity for over 2 years at room temperature.

Norgen’s Urine Exosome Purification and RNA Isolation Maxi Kit (Cat# 58800) was used to isolate RNA from exosomes purified from different urine volumes.
2 μL of isolated RNA was used in RT-qPCR to assess amplification of urinary exosomal miR-30a.
The average Ct value decreased linearly with increased input volume, showing excellent linearity and >90% recovery.
