PDPK1 (3-Phosphoinositide Dependent Protein Kinase 1)는 AGC kinase를 인산화하며, PKC 및 PKC zeta를 활성화합니다. 또한 Akt (PKB)를 Thr308에서 인산화하여 GSK3를 비활성화하고 glycogen synthase를 활성화합니다. PDPK1은 인슐린 유도 glycogen 합성과 PKC 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하므로, 대사성 약물 연구에서 중요한 표적입니다.
