This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Target Information

EIF5A2 is an mRNA-binding protein involved in translation elongation. It plays a role in mRNA turnover, acting downstream of decapping, and is associated with actin dynamics, cell cycle progression, mRNA decay, stress response, and maintenance of cell wall integrity. EIF5A2 functions as a regulator of apoptosis and mediates polyamine effects on neuronal process extension and survival. It may have important roles in brain development, function, and skeletal muscle stem cell differentiation.
