Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Lymphotactin (XCL1). Anti-Human Lymphotactin (XCL1)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) (500-P40Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human Lymphotactin (XCL1).

Western Blot:
To detect hLymphotactin by Western Blot analysis, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hLymphotactin is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Lymphotactin (XCL1) is a member of the C-chemokine family that acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes, but not monocytes or neutrophils, suggesting a regulatory role in lymphocyte trafficking and inflammation. It signals through chemokine XC receptor 1 (XCR1) and is expressed at high levels in the spleen and at lower levels in lungs, small intestine, and colon. It is abundantly and selectively expressed by activated T cells, particularly CD8+ T cells, and also produced by NK cells.
