Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Lymphotactin (XCL1). Anti-Human Lymphotactin (XCL1)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect human Lymphotactin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required.
This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human Lymphotactin (500-P40) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant human Lymphotactin.

Western Blot:
To detect human Lymphotactin by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant human Lymphotactin is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Lymphotactin (XCL1) is a member of the C-chemokine family that uniquely acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes, but not monocytes or neutrophils, indicating a regulatory role in lymphocyte trafficking and inflammation.
Lymphotactin signals through the chemokine XC receptor 1 (XCR1) and is highly expressed in the spleen, with lower expression in the lungs, small intestine, and colon.
It is abundantly expressed by activated T cells, particularly CD8+ T cells, and is also produced by NK cells.
