Pipette Operation

Forward Technique (for low-density liquids)

  1. Press the push button to the first STOP.
  2. Slowly release to the ready position to aspirate liquid.
  3. Deliver liquid by pressing to the first STOP, then continue to the second STOP to empty.
  4. Release to ready position and change tip if needed.

Reverse Technique (for high-viscosity or volatile liquids)

  1. Depress button to the second STOP, then release slowly to aspirate slightly more than preset volume.
  2. Press to the first STOP to dispense preset volume.
  3. Discard remaining liquid with the tip.

Position Reference: Ready Position → First STOP → Second STOP

Calibration and Adjustment

Use the Service Tool as shown:

  • Turn clockwise to increase volume.
  • Turn counterclockwise to decrease volume.
  • Calibrate 1–2 times per year depending on usage.

Note: “Mantissa (Increment)” refers to the product data sheet.

Storage and Transportation

Store and transport at room temperature.

Notice

  1. Ensure pipette and tips are at the same temperature before use. Hold upright and immerse tip 2–3 mm below liquid surface. Pre-wet tip for viscous or dense liquids.
  2. Do not invert or lay flat when tip contains liquid. Use a pipette stand.
  3. Operate within the specified volume range.
  4. Apply maintenance oil to sealing ring for long-term storage.
  5. For disassembly or repair, contact a professional technician.
