Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Msi2 (musashi homolog 2), also known as MSI2H, is a 328 amino acid cytoplasmic protein containing two RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains.
It is expressed ubiquitously at low levels and functions as an RNA-binding protein regulating target mRNA expression, contributing to stem cell proliferation and maintenance in the central nervous system.
Msi2 is phosphorylated posttranslationally and upregulated after brain injury, suggesting roles in tissue regeneration.
Chromosomal aberrations involving Msi2 are linked to chronic myeloid leukemia progression.
Tissue specificity: Ubiquitous; detected at low levels.
