For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as cancer or disease biomarkers.
KLK8 is one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily genes located in tandem on chromosome 19. The encoded protein may participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and serve as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Alternate splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
