This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human NME1/NDKA.

Target Information

NME1 was identified due to reduced mRNA transcript levels in highly metastatic cells. Nucleoside diphosphate kinase (NDK) exists as a hexamer composed of A (encoded by this gene) and B (encoded by NME2) isoforms. Mutations in this gene have been found in aggressive neuroblastomas. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Co-transcription of NME1 and NME2 generates naturally occurring transcripts (NME1-NME2), which encode a fusion protein sharing identity with each individual gene product.
