For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

Ubiquitin is a highly conserved protein involved in targeting cellular proteins for degradation by the 26S proteasome. The UBA52 gene encodes a fusion protein consisting of ubiquitin at the N-terminus and ribosomal protein S27a at the C-terminus.
When expressed, it is processed into free ubiquitin monomers and ribosomal protein S27a, a component of the 40S ribosomal subunit. S27a contains C4-type zinc finger domains and is located in the cytoplasm.
Pseudogenes derived from this gene exist in the genome. Similarly, ribosomal proteins L40 and S30 are synthesized as fusion proteins with ubiquitin or ubiquitin-like proteins.
