Product Specific Information
The 11-26c monoclonal antibody reacts with the delta heavy chain of mouse IgD. It does not react with other classes of mouse immunoglobulin including IgA, IgG, or IgM. IgD is expressed by peripheral mature B cells, and 11-26c does not activate B cells.
Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis to detect surface IgD on mouse B cells.
Applications Tested: Validated by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes; recommended ≤ 0.125 µg/test (in 100 µL final volume). Cell count may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information
IgD is a type I transmembrane protein co-expressed with membrane IgM on mature naive B cells. It also exists as a soluble form in serum and associates with the B cell receptor, participating in signal transduction upon antigen binding.
