The 14B11 monoclonal antibody reacts with a subset of mouse Ly-49 receptors and recognizes a majority of mouse NK cells. This antibody binds to three putative inhibitory members of the Ly-49 family (F, I, and C) and one activating receptor, Ly-49H. 14B11 does not react with Ly-49A, B, D, or G. It has been reported to enhance the redirected lysis of FcR⁺ target cells by IL-2-activated NK cells.

- Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number should be empirically determined (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information
KLRA3 (Ly49C) is a member of the LY49 receptor family in Natural Killer (NK) cells that bind to MHC class I molecules. These receptors are classified as activating or inhibitory based on the presence of ITIM (inhibitory) or ITAM (activating) motifs. KLRA3 is considered an inhibitory receptor recognizing peptide-receptive H-2Kb.
