MA5-15827 targets BMPR2 in FACS, ICC/IF, IHC (P), and WB applications and shows reactivity with human, mouse, non-human primate, and rat samples.

Target Information

BMPR2 is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. BMP ligands are involved in endochondral bone formation and embryogenesis. Loss of BMPR2 function may contribute to primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) and pulmonary veno-occlusive disease. BMPR2 also plays an essential role in human T-cell differentiation. BMPs signal through heteromeric complexes of type I and type II serine/threonine kinase receptors. Type II receptors bind ligands independently but require type I receptors for signaling, while type I receptors require type II receptors for ligand binding.
