Target Information
Trefoil family 단백질은 최소 하나의 trefoil 모티프(약 40 아미노산, 3개의 보존된 이황화 결합 포함)를 가지며, 위장관 점막에서 발현되는 안정적인 분비 단백질입니다. 이 단백질들은 점막 보호, 점액층 안정화 및 상피 회복에 관여할 수 있습니다. TFF1 유전자는 위 점막에서 발현되며, 인간 종양에서도 그 발현이 연구되었습니다. 이 유전자와 관련된 두 개의 trefoil family 유전자들은 염색체 21번에 클러스터 형태로 존재합니다.
