Target Information
IdU (Idoxuridine)는 deoxyuridine의 변형된 뉴클레오사이드 유사체로, 바이러스 DNA 복제 과정에 포함될 수 있습니다.
Uracil 부분에 요오드가 추가되어 염기쌍 형성이 차단됩니다.
심장독성으로 인해 국소적으로만 사용되며, 1950년대 후반 William Prusoff에 의해 합성되었습니다.
