Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DYNLL1.

Target Information

Cytoplasmic dyneins are large enzyme complexes with a molecular mass of about 1,200 kD. They contain two force-producing heads formed primarily from dynein heavy chains and stalks linking the heads to a basal domain that includes accessory intermediate chains. The complex is involved in intracellular transport and motility.
DYNLL1 is a light chain component of this complex and physically interacts with neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS), inhibiting its activity. Binding of DYNLL1 destabilizes the nNOS dimer, which is necessary for enzymatic activity, thereby regulating multiple biological processes through modulation of nitric oxide synthase activity.
