Target Information
CD204 (MSR1) 유전자는 class A macrophage scavenger receptor를 암호화하며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 type 1, 2, 3의 세 가지 형태로 존재합니다.
이 수용체들은 대식세포 특이적 삼량체 막당단백질로, 죽상동맥경화증, 알츠하이머병, 숙주 방어 등 다양한 생리 및 병리 과정에 관여합니다.
Type 1과 2는 변형된 LDL의 내재화를 매개하지만, type 3은 내재화 기능이 없으며 세포 내에서 type 1, 2의 기능을 억제할 수 있습니다.
MSR1 관련 질환으로는 Barrett Esophagus와 Prostate Cancer가 보고되어 있습니다.
