Product Specific Information

The W6/32 monoclonal antibody reacts with human MHC class I antigens (HLA-A, B, C) associated with beta-2 microglobulin. These antigens are expressed on all nucleated cells and are key in cell-mediated immune response and tumor surveillance.
W6/32 recognizes a non-polymorphic epitope shared among HLA-A, B, and C loci and immunoprecipitates both 43 kDa and 11–12 kDa chains. Cross-reactivity is observed in baboon, rhesus, and cynomolgus monkey.

  • Applications Tested: Pre-diluted; use 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 737 (BUV737) emits at 732 nm and is designed for cytometers equipped with a 355 nm ultraviolet laser. Ensure compatibility with your instrument.

Staining Buffer Recommendations

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use:

  • Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401)
  • Brilliant Stain Buffer (Product # 00-4409)

These buffers minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity

This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation Compatibility

Samples may be stored in:

  • IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222)
  • 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333)

Storage up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark is possible with minimal impact on brightness.
BUV737 is compatible with short-term methanol fixation (<1 hour).
