Product Specific Information
PA3-035 detects Ecm29 in human and mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot and immunofluorescence applications.
In Western blot analysis of HeLa cell extracts, this antibody detects a ~205 kDa protein representing Ecm29.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal residues R(1821)–E(1839) of human Ecm29.
Target Information
Ecm29 is one of the proteins associated with proteasomes and enhances proteasome stability.
Deletion of Ecm29 leads to dissociation of 26S proteasomes in the absence of ATP, suggesting that Ecm29 tethers the regulatory complex to the proteasome.
