Product Specific Information
For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use.
Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use material in original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (do not prepare aliquots below 20 µL).
Never store kinase diluted.
If properly stored at -80°C, product stability is guaranteed for 6 months from purchase date.

Target Information
IKBKB (IKK beta) phosphorylates serine residues on I-kappa-B proteins, marking them for degradation via ubiquitination and enabling NF-kappa-B activation.
This serine kinase is essential in the NF-kappa-B signaling pathway, activated by inflammatory cytokines, bacterial or viral products, DNA damage, and other stresses.
IKK beta functions within the canonical IKK complex, phosphorylating NF-kappa-B inhibitors on critical serine residues, leading to their polyubiquitination and proteasomal degradation.
Free NF-kappa-B then translocates to the nucleus to activate transcription of genes involved in immune response, growth control, and apoptosis protection.
Mutations in the IKK beta gene can cause Immunodeficiency 15 (IMD15).
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
