• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
• For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Wilms’ tumor (WT) is an embryonal kidney malignancy affecting 1 in 10,000 infants, occurring in both sporadic and inherited forms. The Wilms’ tumor protein (WT1) binds the DNA sequence GCGGGGGCG and functions as a transcriptional repressor.
WTAP (Wilms tumor 1-associating protein) is a nuclear protein interacting with WT1, involved in mRNA splicing regulation. WTAP localizes to nuclear speckles and regulates the G2/M cell cycle transition by binding the 3′ UTR of cyclin A2, enhancing its stability. It also inhibits WT1 target gene expression and reduces WT1 DNA-binding ability. Two isoforms exist due to alternative splicing.
