SA1-10642 detects feline immunoglobulin and does not react with bovine, equine, canine, rabbit, sheep, porcine, donkey, guinea pig, goat, or human.
It has been successfully used in ELISA applications.
The immunogen used for SA1-10642 is purified feline immunoglobulin.

Target Information

Anti-Feline secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for feline immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility enabling use with many detection systems (e.g. HRP, AP, fluorescence). They also provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g. immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
