SA1-10643 detects feline immunoglobulin and does not react with bovine, equine, canine, rabbit, sheep, porcine, donkey, guinea pig, goat, or human.
It has been successfully used in ELISA applications.
The immunogen used is purified feline immunoglobulin.

Target Information

Anti-Feline secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for feline immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their target.
Secondary antibodies increase versatility by allowing use with various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and can enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
