The FIB504 monoclonal antibody reacts with human and mouse integrin beta 7, a 130 kD glycoprotein that associates with integrin alpha 4 (CD49d) to form the alpha 4 beta 7 integrin (LPAM-1) and with alpha E (CD103) to form the alpha E beta 7 integrin (HML-1).

• LPAM-1 is expressed on intraepithelial lymphocytes and binds VCAM-1 (CD106), MAdCAM-1, and fibronectin.
• HML-1 is expressed on T cells adjacent to mucosal epithelium and binds E-cadherin (CD324).

Integrin beta 7 plays a critical role in leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells and facilitates transmigration during inflammatory responses. The FIB504 antibody has been reported to exhibit blocking activity.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test in 100 µL final volume.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
