Target Information
Apolipoprotein C-III (apo-CIII)는 인간 APOC3 유전자에 의해 발현되는 단백질로, 초저밀도 지단백(VLDL)의 구성 성분입니다. APOC3는 지단백 리파아제 및 간 리파아제를 억제하여 중성지방이 풍부한 입자의 대사를 지연시키는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. APOA1, APOC3 및 APOA4 유전자는 인간과 쥐 모두에서 밀접하게 연결되어 있으며, A-I과 A-IV 유전자는 동일한 가닥에서 전사되고, A-I과 C-III 유전자는 반대 방향으로 전사됩니다. ApoC-III의 농도 증가 시 고중성지방혈증이 유도될 수 있습니다.
