This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in HEK293 cells. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This gene belongs to the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases, a conserved and ubiquitous group involved in:

- Immunosuppression by cyclosporin A
- HIV-1 virion infection
The protein interacts with the proteinase inhibitor eglin c and is localized in the nucleus. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
