Target Information
Transcription factor EB (TFEB) is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper superfamily of transcription factors, translocated in a subset of renal tumors.
Recent studies indicate that TFEB regulates lysosomal biogenesis under the control of the mTOR complex 1.
It also coordinates autophagy by driving the expression of autophagy and lysosomal genes.
