Target Information
LAMP2 (Lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 2, CD107b)는 막당단백질 계열에 속하며, lysosome의 보호, 유지 및 부착에 관여합니다.
LAMP2는 당단백질로서 선택틴(selectin)에 탄수화물 리간드를 제공하며, 종양 세포 전이에 관여할 수 있습니다.
전구체 형태는 약 46 kDa이며, 성숙된 형태는 다양한 N-linked 및 O-linked 당사슬로 인해 약 100–130 kDa의 분자량을 가집니다.
구조적으로는 큰 아미노 말단의 intra-lysosomal 도메인, 소수성 막관통 도메인, 짧은 카르복시 말단 세포질 꼬리로 구성됩니다.
LAMP2는 chaperone-mediated autophagy를 모니터링하는 데 사용됩니다.
LAMP 단백질은 LAMP-2A, -2B, -2C의 세 가지 변형 형태를 가지며, CD107a/LAMP-1과 함께 lysosomal membrane의 주요 구성 요소입니다.
LAMP 단백질은 lysosome 생합성 및 phagosome 융합에 필수적이며, LAMP2는 phagosomal 성숙의 중요한 조절인자입니다.
LAMP2 결핍은 여러 조직에서 autophagosome 축적을 유발하여 심근병증과 근병증(Danon’s disease)을 초래합니다.
