For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SAP90/PSD-95-associated protein 3 (SAPAP3, also known as DLGAP3) is a member of a protein family that interacts specifically with PSD-95/SAP90, a membrane-associated guanylate kinase localized at the postsynaptic density (PSD) in neuronal cells.
SAPAP3 functions as an adaptor protein interacting with various synaptic scaffolding, cytoskeletal, and signaling components such as focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2 (PYK2).
Both SAPAP3 protein and mRNA localize to dendrites, while SAPAP1, -2, and -4 mRNAs are mainly found in cell bodies.
Studies suggest SAPAP3 may be involved in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as SAPAP3-deficient mice display OCD-like behaviors that can be rescued by selective re-expression of SAPAP3 in the striatum.
At least two isoforms of SAPAP3 are known.
