Product Specific Information

The W6/32 monoclonal antibody reacts with human MHC class I antigens (HLA-A, B, C) associated with β2-microglobulin, expressed on all nucleated cells. It recognizes a non-polymorphic epitope common to HLA-A, B, and C loci and immunoprecipitates 43 kDa and 11–12 kDa chains. Cross-reactivity observed in baboon, rhesus, and cynomolgus monkey.

Each product includes one vial of NovaFluor conjugate and one vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated for flow cytometry of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use 5 µL (0.6 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Important Notes

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA-intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample before combining with cells.
  • For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).
