Target Information
The CHD4 gene product belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and is a major component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex. It plays a critical role in epigenetic transcriptional repression. Autoantibodies against CHD4 are often found in patients with dermatomyositis.
