For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

IDO1 (Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1) is an intracellular heme-containing enzyme that catalyzes the oxidative cleavage of the indole ring of tryptophan, serotonin, and melatonin, leading to the production of kynurenines.
IDO1 is widely expressed in human tissues, macrophages, and dendritic cells. Its expression is induced by interferons (IFNs), particularly IFN-gamma, as part of antimicrobial defense mechanisms.
Tryptophan degradation by IDO1 inhibits the growth of viruses, bacteria, and parasites, and plays a key role in immune regulation during infection, pregnancy, autoimmunity, transplantation, and cancer.
