Target Information
BRSK2 (Brain-selective serine/threonine kinase 2)는 주로 뇌에서 발현되며, 고환 및 췌장에서 약하게 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 WEE1A, CDC25C, CDC25B를 인산화하며, UV 또는 methyl methane sulfonate에 의해 활성화됩니다.
DNA 손상 시 BRSK2는 세포질에서 핵으로 이동하며, 과발현 시 HeLa 세포에서 G2/M arrest를 유도합니다.
BRSK2는 UV 유도 DNA 손상에 대한 체크포인트 키나아제로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다.
