Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
USP9X is an ubiquitin-specific protease that removes and recycles ubiquitin from proteins degraded in proteasomes. It plays a crucial role in tight junction biogenesis by regulating the levels of EFA6, a protein facilitating tight junction formation prior to cell polarity establishment.
Located on the X chromosome, USP9X escapes X-inactivation, and defects in this gene may lead to gonadal degeneration in Turner syndrome.
