Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, store small aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freezing and thawing cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

LRRC8A is an essential component of the volume-regulated anion channel (VRAC, also known as VSOAC channel), which maintains constant cell volume in response to osmotic changes.
The VRAC channel conducts iodide better than chloride and may also conduct organic osmolytes like taurine.
LRRC8A is involved in B-cell development (pro-B to pre-B transition) and T-cell development.
It is unclear whether LRRC8A forms the pore or associates with it to mediate ion selectivity.
