For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CBX8 is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development.
The PcG PRC1 complex acts via chromatin remodeling and histone modification, mediating monoubiquitination of histone H2A at Lys-119, leading to heritable changes in chromatin expressibility.
