Target Information
Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome (PJS)는 입술의 멜라닌 반점, 위장관 과오종성 용종, 다양한 암의 위험 증가를 특징으로 하는 희귀 유전 질환입니다. LKB1(STK11) 유전자가 PJS에서 변이된 것으로 알려져 있으며, LKB1 활성은 STRAD alpha 및 칼슘 결합 단백질 MO25 alpha로 구성된 조절 복합체 결합 시 증가합니다. STRAD와 MO25는 LKB1의 핵-세포질 이동을 조절하여 종양 억제 기능을 제어합니다. LKB1/STRAD/MO25 복합체는 AMP-activated protein kinase kinase (AMPKK)로 작용합니다.
