Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)는 281개의 아미노산으로 구성된 Type-1 Th1 특이 세포 표면 당단백질로, CD4+Th1 및 CD8+Tc1 세포에서 발현됩니다.
TIM3는 IgV-like 도메인, mucin-like 도메인, 세포질 내 보존된 Tyrosine phosphorylation motif를 포함하며, 대식세포 활성화 및 자가면역 질환 유도에 관여합니다.
또한 TIM3는 Th1 매개 면역 반응을 억제하고 면역 관용 발달을 촉진합니다.
병리학적으로는 Th1 의존성 자가면역 질환인 실험적 자가면역 뇌척수염(EAE)과 관련이 있으며, 마우스에서 EAE의 중증도를 증가시킵니다.
