Target Information
Signal-induced proliferation associated-like protein 3 (SIPA1L3) belongs to the SIPA1 family of RapGAPs. It is a molecular component of tight and adherens junctions, potentially balancing Rap1 activity by counteracting RapGEFs. Dysregulation of SIPA family members has been linked to myeloproliferative disorders and metastasis in cancers. SIPA1L3 may also play roles in embryonic development and cell proliferation.
