Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Syntaxins are a family of proteins involved in the fusion of synaptic vesicles with the plasma membrane. They have broad tissue distribution and carboxy-terminal hydrophobic domains that target specific intracellular compartments. Syntaxin 18 localizes mainly to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and functions in transport between the ER and Golgi. It also plays a role in ER-mediated phagocytosis by regulating fusion between ER and plasma or phagosomal membranes.
