- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

MMP9 (Matrix Metallopeptidase 9, GELB, CLG4B)는 아연 및 칼슘 의존성 endopeptidase 계열에 속하며, 세포외기질 단백질을 분해하는 역할을 합니다.
MMP9는 92 kDa zymogen 형태로 분비되며, 활성화된 효소는 82 kDa입니다.
이 단백질은 gelatin-binding domain, catalytic domain, proline-rich domain, hemopexin-like domain을 포함합니다.
MMP9는 단핵구, 대식세포, 호중구, 각질형성세포, 섬유아세포, 파골세포, 내피세포 등에서 발현되며, 염증 반응, 조직 재형성, 상처 치유, 종양 성장 및 전이 과정에 관여합니다.
또한, 골수 유래 세포에 의해 공급되어 피부암 발생에 기여하며, type IV 및 V collagen을 분해합니다.
연구 결과, MMP9의 상승은 특발성 심방세동 및 대동맥류 진행과 관련이 있습니다.
