Target Information

Adecatumumab은 인간 IgG1 아형의 재조합 단클론 항체로, 상피세포 접착분자(EpCAM, CD326)에 특이적으로 결합합니다. EpCAM은 대부분의 고형 종양(전립선, 유방, 결장, 위, 난소, 췌장, 폐암 등)에서 높은 수준으로 발현되며, 세포 증식, 이동, 침윤성 증가와 관련이 있습니다. 또한 EpCAM 발현은 여러 암종(유방, 담낭, 담관, 난소, 팽대부 췌장암 등)에서 생존율 감소와 연관되어 있습니다. EpCAM은 암 줄기세포에서도 발현되며, 임상 연구에서 안전성 및 EpCAM 발현 의존적 활성도가 확인되었습니다.
