This antibody detects endogenous levels of GAP43 only when phosphorylated at Ser41.
Target Information
GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth and is expressed in developing and regenerating neurons, as well as reactive glial cells. It is a major component of motile growth cones at elongating axon tips and plays a key role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
