• Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW).
• Store reconstituted solution at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

ATP-dependent calcium pumps are essential for maintaining low cytoplasmic calcium levels. These pumps, located in intracellular organelles, are encoded by the sarcoplasmic or endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase (SERCA) family.
The SERCA2 gene produces tissue-specific isoforms:

• SERCA2a: Expressed in type I (slow) skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle.
• SERCA2b: Expressed in all cell types.

SERCA3 is co-expressed with SERCA2b in platelets, mast cells, lymphoid cells, and epithelial cells, and is considered the non-muscle form of SERCA.
